Which scarf should I buy?

I am absolutely in love with Hermes Les Rivieres de Babel and I find the black and gold particularly striking. However, I worry it's not as practical a colorway as the white and pink. Here are the pictures:

The prices are about the same, so that doesn't matter. For reference, I am black and light skinned (for a picture of my coloring: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3066/3050644178_9590ea2061.jpg?v=0) and I don't really stick to just one color for clothing. I wear mostly neutrals in the winter - gray, black, and white, and I dress colorfully in the summer.
